E-Course Training – What's the Purpose of an Ecourse?

The purpose of an Ecourse has two sides. The creator of the Ecourse and the recipient of the Ecourse.

The purpose for the creator or writer is usually to promote a business, a product or service if you will. After all, without some kind of marketing or advertising, the business may never make any money. And I really can not think of someone who's in business that is not doing it to make money.

Using an Ecourse to promote a business is a great way to get the business name out to the market place. Using the speed and reach of the internet to provide people who are interested in that business's "topic" an avenue to gain more info is both effective and low cost.

The purpose of an Ecourse for the recipient is to gain information about a certain topic, hobby, service, profession, or opportunity. It's about fulfilling a need or solving a problem someone has. The more the Ecourse caters to the needs of the recipient, the better that Ecourse is.

The creator needs to keep in mind that he's not the only game in town. With the internet, the recipient has dozens, if not hundreds, of choices when it comes to finding what they need to find.

In its simplest form, the purposed of an Ecourse is to fulfill a need for the recipient and to make an eventual profit for the creator. If the two come together at the same time, a possible long term business relationship has been reached. As long as the need is filled and money is being made, everyone is happy.
