Other vital affiliate marketing resources include such things as directories that list products to promote, typically broken down by categories for easy browsing.

Take your time at this stage because picking lousy affiliate programs is one of the primary reasons people end up making little to no money online.
Other Resources To Consider
In the less vital, but, in my opinion, highly important department, are such resources as training programs, educational ebooks, and courses to buy.
Can you succeed without them? Yes, of course. There is a great deal of free information on the Internet. But then you have to factor in opportunity cost.
How much time (and money) could you save if you read a couple of good ebooks on affiliate marketing, or purchased a course before you took your plunge?
How much faster could you become profitable and to what greater degree of profitability could you achieve if you join a training service and surrounded yourself with like-minded, success-driven people and receive highly focused training?
Look, I'm not saying you should buy every piece of affiliate educational material out there. You can certainly suffer from information overload if you do not do it selectively. But, like the saying goes: if you think education is expensive, try ignorance.
Affiliate marketing, although an incredible business opportunity you can participate in at very little cost and risk, with virtually unlimited upside potential, still requires a solid education on the tried-and-true principles that make it work.
