Today was a good day, the first of many monthly good days I hope.
I was, a few months ago one of those people who would search on Google to find ways of making money on the internet. I tried many different strategies and schemes all of which came to only a small amount of success ($ 150 on an online casino-still I think it was luck!). One day I read about Google Adsense. I quickly became curious. I then read many 'too good to be true' articles which I soon realized are posted all over the web hosting to sell you a con, such as '1000 AdSense ready pages', in order to steal some of your hard earned money. I then searched on eBay in order to find some opportunities. Unfortunately I was gullible; I purchased a 'ready made website with traffic'. Which of course was useless, I paid a high amount for it and I am still to make a penny from it. And as for support, well the seller soon went rather, silent!
Any, I read on, and after hours and days I realized that I was developing a small, limited amount of knowledge about the concept of Page rank and SEO. Having realized this it dawned on me that the only reasonable chance that I would have of equipping one of these 'top rankings' websites in the short term, at a price which was within my reach, without spending days submitting to high PR websites and directories would be to purchase an expiring domain name. Another deep and diverse area as I soon realized. Any, I registered with mydomains.com, I searched for hours through lists of expiring domain names, typing each one into my page rank detector. That night I had a list of about 5 websites which I had been ignorant enough to believe had extremely good Google page ranks. That night I bid on the five expiring domains and I acquired four of them, each at $ 90. I followed advice about how to get the best results from them. A few days passed and I was shocked and quite upset to realize that I had received no AdSense money from my new investments.
A bit later in the week I began to read into an area called fake page rankings. I read for a while and soon began to realize that I had been sold a con, I had purchased websites with fake page rankings, the high page ranks which I thought I had acquired in fact related to other websites. After finding a fake page rank detection tool and discovering the fact that you can type in a web address after the word links: on Google search, eg links: www.enteraddress.com I was ready to search the lists of expiring domain names again. At this stage I had also invested money in purchased the 'Expired domain sleuth' which incidentally I would say is rubbish and has got me no where, Just do not be tempted!
After realizing that highly ranked expiration names are highlyought after I decided that I would settle for focusing my efforts on the acquisition of a low page rank domain name. Finally I found a domain on snapdomains.com, I bid on it, and I acquired it. The domain name was [https://ift.tt/2H6Uuqp]. It had a page rank of 1. I worked on content for this website, and I submitted it to many different directories. By this point I had realized I was not going to be making fortunes over night and that I probably would still be, after the weekend doing my part time job working in a supermarket, (I'm a student awaiting A level results). After my success of acquiring the website I realized that the main factor to work on for my website was traffic, unfortunately I must confess I was even foolish enough to buy traffic. If I only get one point across to you in this article let it be, 'Never, ever buy traffic', it gets you no where, you wont get sales, all you'll get is floods of people who do not want to be at your site, or fake clicks from click frames, (places where people click away all day, excuse the simplistic definition and the poetry).
A bit later, I continued writing pages for my website and I am pleased to say that my visit counter was clicking along at an increasing speed. After reading yet another article on the subject of SEO I decided to optimize my website further, changing the title. I am glad to say that this made a difference and suddenly I noticed my site appearing in Google searches, facilitated with this result I sat back and watched my AdSense balance, slowly buy surely increase.
Last week the mail came, and I am promised to say that in it was my first ever AdSense cheque. Not for a vast sum but for a decent amount. But one day, I hope, one day I will be receiving large highly decent sums! hey, one day I may even live the high life with no job and no worries. But if not maybe I will be able to rely on the earnings to pay for other things in my life, maybe my student loan repayments! Either way, Good luck and keep persevering, oh, and hang on to your money! If something appears too good to be true then it probably is!
