Adsense is a great way to earn extra money if you have the time and patience to learn from those who are experienced and if you are prepared to test new looks and positions within your website.
But AdSense is not the only advertising partner that you can team up with to make a successful income online. If you can make money from AdSense you can make money from alternative methods as well.

AdSense has many other competitors out there and if for some reason you have been banned from AdSense then you are probably left with no alternative but to peruse them if you wish to generate income in this way further.

Another business model that is fresh, new and interesting is pay per hear advertising. You get paid for playing a five second ad on your web page. The benefits of this advertising advertising is that the audio ad plays automatically so you get paid for all visitors who land on your website.
Both pay per click and pay per hear models add a nice diversification to your online portfolio. All rely on you getting traffic to your website though as that is the life force of your website.
